Advanced Paddler Evening
This is a great way to refine your skills if you are a seasoned boater! At beautiful Red Bud Island in the heart of Austin you will be able to work in a small group setting with seasoned instructors to efficiently maneuver your canoe or kayak, perfect your necessary strokes, and get feedback on your technique. If you are pressed for time this is the way to get started in this weekly evening course! This is also a great way to refine your skills if you are a seasoned boater, because there is a variety of water features available to practice on from pools to wave trains, to the biggest wave in Texas downstream a little ways! The best part is that you can come back every night during the summer to practice on your own, because they release water every night. . .
The group get together is free. If you would like paddling instruction it is available at a fee. Email Michelle@redriverracing.org to verify your appointment!
