Here at KayakInstruction.org we believe that it is safety first! That’s why we teach Swiftwater Rescue courses of all levels to help you be ready on the river. We want you out there for many years to come! Taking a Swiftwater rescue course is the best way to insure the safety of your group. Our courses are taught by American Canoe Association certified Swiftwater Rescue Instructors. We work on all of our skills at the new Rio Vista Falls Park and the wonderful riverside facilities at the Power Olympic Outdoor Center!

Our Classes are sure to be tons of fun and full of great information! If you are doing the first day only you will complete the ACA River Essentials Course. If you are attending the full weekend you will complete the ACA Swiftwater Rescue Course. Please check the links below as they will give you detailed information on what will be covered and what you will need to bring for each course. Most of all come, and be ready for a great weekend!
Pricing:
ACA River Essentials: $95.00
ACA Swiftwater Rescue: $190
*Helmets, PFD’s, Paddles, and Spraydecks can be rented at the Power Olympic Outdoor Center for $5 each or $10 for the kit.
*Kayaks and Canoes can be rented for $25/day.
